This Privacy Policy applies to the Bible Challenge app.
Account Deletion Request
Users can request account deletion at any time, and all personal data will be removed.
How to delete your account in the app:
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile or My Info tab in the bottom menu.
- Find the Delete Account button at the bottom of the page.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Confirm or Delete.
Important:
- Deleting through the in-app Delete Account button removes account data from the database immediately.
- Deleted data cannot be restored.
- All account and user data is permanently deleted, including account info, quiz history, stats, level/XP/streak, badges, and related records.

1. Personal Information and Google User Data We Collect
Bible Challenge collects the following data:
1-1. Account Information (Required)
- When signing in with Google: email, profile name, Google UID, and optional profile photo URL.
- When signing in with email/password: email and optional profile name.
1-2. Service Usage Information (Automatically Collected)
- Gameplay data: quiz records, scores, correct/incorrect history, question-type stats, and Bible book stats.
- Learning stats: total plays, total score, accuracy, perfect games, best streak, daily accuracy.
- Level and achievement data: level, XP, attendance streak, last played time, account creation time.
- Badges and achievements: earned badges and achievement records.
- Optional data: church information (churchId, churchName, department) if provided by user.
2. Purpose of Using Google User Data
We use Google user data only for:
- user authentication and account management,
- saving and managing quiz progress,
- providing personalized learning stats,
- improving services through anonymized analysis,
- customer support.
We do not use Google user data for targeted ads, data brokerage, resale, credit scoring, loan purposes, database resale, or AI training.
3. Data Storage and Retention
All collected data is securely stored in Firebase (Google Cloud Platform).
3-1. General Retention
- Active users: data is retained while the service is in use.
- After account deletion: data is deleted within 7 days.
3-2. Data Deleted on Account Deletion
Account info, gameplay records, learning stats, level/XP/attendance, badges/achievements, and optional church data are deleted.
3-3. Legally Required Retention
- Records on contracts/withdrawals: 5 years
- Records on payments and goods/services: 5 years
- Consumer complaints/disputes: 3 years
- Login records under communications law: 3 months
Data required by law is deleted immediately after the legal retention period expires.
3-4. Data We Do Not Collect
- Location data (GPS or IP-based location)
- Contact list data
- Camera/gallery permission data
- Microphone permission data
- Device unique identifiers (IMEI/serial number)
4. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google User Data
We do not provide, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties.
Exceptions apply only when required by law or when minimally necessary for service operation (such as Firebase storage).
We never sell Google user data.
5. Data Protection Measures
- Encryption: HTTPS/TLS for data in transit.
- Secure storage: Firebase infrastructure with access control and authentication mechanisms.
- Restricted access: limited to authorized users and administrators.
- Regular security review: security procedures are reviewed and updated periodically.
6. Retention and Deletion Policy Summary
- Data is retained while the account is active.
- After account deletion request, all personal and Google user data is deleted within 7 days.
- Data legally required to be retained is kept only for the required period and then deleted.

사용자는 언제든지 계정 삭제를 요청하여 모든 개인정보를 삭제할 수 있습니다.
앱 내 계정 삭제 절차:

중요 안내:
- 내정보 화면 하단의 "계정 삭제" 버튼을 통한 계정 삭제는 즉시 데이터베이스의 모든 계정 정보가 삭제됩니다.
- 삭제된 계정 정보는 복구할 수 없습니다.
- 계정 삭제 시 계정 정보, 퀴즈 기록, 학습 통계, 레벨/경험치/출석 정보, 뱃지 및 성취 정보 등 모든 사용자 데이터가 영구적으로 삭제됩니다.

2. Google 사용자 데이터의 사용 목적
수집한 Google 사용자 데이터는 다음 목적으로만 사용합니다.
- 서비스 제공 및 계정 관리
- 퀴즈 진행 기록 저장 및 관리
- 개인화된 학습 통계 제공
- 익명화 기반 서비스 개선
- 고객 지원
타겟 광고, 데이터 판매/중개, 재판매, 신용평가, 대출 목적, AI 훈련 등으로는 사용하지 않습니다.
3. 데이터 저장 및 보관 기간
수집한 데이터는 Firebase(Google Cloud Platform)에 안전하게 저장됩니다.

법적 보관 기간이 만료되면 즉시 삭제합니다.

- 카메라/갤러리 접근 권한 데이터
- 마이크 접근 권한 데이터
- 기기 고유 식별자(IMEI, 시리얼 번호)
4. Google 사용자 데이터의 공유, 전송 및 공개
Google 사용자 데이터를 제3자에게 제공, 전송 또는 공개하지 않습니다.
단, 법령에 의해 요구되거나 서비스 제공을 위해 필요한 최소 범위(예: Firebase 저장)에서는 예외가 있을 수 있습니다.
Google 사용자 데이터는 판매하지 않습니다.
