This Privacy Policy applies to the Bible Challenge app.

Account Deletion Request

You can request account deletion at any time. The purchase-record exceptions in section 3 also apply.

How to delete your account in the app:

Open the app and sign in.
Go to the Profile or My Info tab in the bottom menu.
Find the Delete Account button at the bottom of the page.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm by tapping Confirm or Delete.

Important:

The in-app Delete Account button removes your sign-in account, profile, and learning records.
Deleted data cannot be restored.
Quiz history, stats, level/XP/streak, badges, and private thank-you cards are deleted. Purchase verification records and deletion markers are retained separately as described in section 3.

1. Personal Information and Google User Data We Collect

Bible Challenge collects the following data:

1-1. Account Information (Required)

When signing in with Google: email, profile name, Google UID, and optional profile photo URL.
When signing in with Apple: the Apple sign-in identifier, email (including a private relay address), and name when provided by Apple.
When signing in with email/password: email and optional profile name.
Account identifier: a Firebase user ID associates your account with learning records and support purchases.

1-2. Service Usage Information (Automatically Collected)

Gameplay data: quiz records, scores, correct/incorrect history, question-type stats, and Bible book stats.
Learning stats: total plays, total score, accuracy, perfect games, best streak, daily accuracy.
Level and achievement data: level, XP, attendance streak, last played time, account creation time.
Badges and achievements: earned badges and achievement records.
Optional data: church information (churchId, churchName, department) if provided by user.
Service analytics: screen views, sessions, quiz interactions, app/device information, and an app-instance identifier. Google Analytics may derive a general location from masked IP addresses; the app does not request GPS access.
Provider processing: Google Sign-In may process Google account details, including a phone number used in its sign-in flow, account/device identifiers, approximate location, usage information, and other sign-in metadata for authentication, fraud prevention, and analytics. Firebase also processes SDK diagnostic metadata. These providers may process information that is not returned to or stored in your app profile.
Optional support purchases: account ID, store, product ID, transaction or purchase identifier, purchase time, price/currency, and purchase/refund status. These support purchase verification, private thank-you cards, recovery of unfinished purchases, fraud prevention, and purchase analytics.
Customer support: account information, subject, and message submitted when contacting us.

Apple or Google processes payments. We do not receive your payment card number or bank account details.

2. Purpose of Using Google User Data

We use Google user data only for:

user authentication and account management,
saving and managing quiz progress,
providing personalized learning stats,
understanding app use and improving the service through usage analytics,
verifying optional support purchases and handling pending purchases or refunds,
customer support.

We do not use Google user data for targeted ads, data brokerage, resale, credit scoring, loan purposes, database resale, or AI training.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Account and learning data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud Platform). RevenueCat processes purchase records and the app account ID for purchase verification and analytics. Apple and Google also retain transaction records for their respective stores.

3-1. General Retention

Active users: data is retained while the service is in use.
After account deletion: account and learning data is deleted; email deletion requests are processed within 7 days. Purchase-record exceptions are explained below.

3-2. Data Deleted on Account Deletion

Account info, gameplay records, learning stats, level/XP/attendance, badges/achievements, and optional church data are deleted.

Purchase verification records and account-deletion markers are not removed by in-app account deletion. They retain the app account identifier and transaction status to prevent purchase reuse and handle delayed purchase or refund events. RevenueCat and the stores may also retain purchase records. Contact us about requests concerning these records. Deleting an app account does not delete an Apple or Google store account or its order history.

3-3. Legally Required Retention

Records on contracts/withdrawals: 5 years
Records on payments and goods/services: 5 years
Consumer complaints/disputes: 3 years
Login records under communications law: 3 months

Data required by law is deleted immediately after the legal retention period expires.

3-4. Data We Do Not Collect

Precise GPS location (Analytics may use general IP-derived location as described above)
Contact list data
Camera/gallery permission data
Microphone permission data
Device unique identifiers (IMEI/serial number)

4. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google User Data

We use Firebase for sign-in, data storage, and analytics, and RevenueCat for optional support purchases. RevenueCat receives the app account ID and purchase records; we do not send it your name, email, or profile photo as customer attributes.

Apple and Google process sign-in and store payments when you choose those services. Data may also be disclosed when required by law. Learn more from Firebase and RevenueCat.

We never sell Google user data.

5. Data Protection Measures

Encryption: HTTPS/TLS for data in transit.
Secure storage: Firebase infrastructure with access control and authentication mechanisms.
Restricted access: limited to authorized users and administrators.
Regular security review: security procedures are reviewed and updated periodically.

6. Retention and Deletion Policy Summary

Data is retained while the account is active.
Account and learning records are deleted through account deletion; the purchase-record exceptions in section 3 apply.
Data legally required to be retained is kept only for the required period and then deleted.

계정 삭제 요청 방법

사용자는 언제든지 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 3항의 구매 기록 보관 예외가 적용됩니다.

앱 내 계정 삭제 절차:

앱을 실행하고 로그인합니다.
하단 메뉴에서 "프로필" 또는 "내정보" 탭을 선택합니다.
내정보 화면 하단에 있는 "계정 삭제" 버튼을 찾습니다.
"계정 삭제" 버튼을 클릭합니다.
삭제 확인 메시지에서 "확인" 또는 "삭제"를 선택합니다.

중요 안내:

내정보 화면 하단의 "계정 삭제" 버튼을 누르면 로그인 계정, 프로필 및 학습 기록이 삭제됩니다.
삭제된 계정 정보는 복구할 수 없습니다.
퀴즈 기록, 학습 통계, 레벨/경험치/출석, 뱃지 및 비공개 감사 카드는 삭제됩니다. 구매 검증 기록과 계정 삭제 표시는 3항에 설명된 목적을 위해 별도로 보관됩니다.

1. 수집하는 개인정보 및 Google 사용자 데이터

바이블챌린지는 다음 정보를 수집합니다.

1-1. 계정 정보 (필수)

Google 계정을 통한 로그인 시: 이메일 주소, 프로필 이름, Google UID, 프로필 사진 URL(선택)
Apple 계정을 통한 로그인 시: Apple 로그인 식별자, Apple이 제공하는 이메일(비공개 릴레이 주소 포함) 및 이름
이메일/비밀번호 로그인 시: 이메일 주소, 프로필 이름(선택)
계정 식별자: Firebase 사용자 ID로 계정과 학습 기록, 후원 구매 기록을 연결합니다.

1-2. 서비스 이용 정보 (자동 수집)

게임 진행 데이터: 퀴즈 기록, 점수, 정답/오답, 문제 유형별 통계, 성경 권별 통계
학습 통계 데이터: 총 게임 수, 총 점수, 정확도, 만점 게임 수, 최고 연속 정답, 일일 정확도
레벨 및 성취도 정보: 레벨, 경험치, 출석 체크, 마지막 플레이 시각, 계정 생성 시각
뱃지 및 성취 정보: 획득한 뱃지 및 성취 기록
선택적 정보: 교회 정보 (churchId, churchName, department)
서비스 분석: 화면 조회, 세션, 퀴즈 이용, 앱·기기 정보 및 앱 인스턴스 식별자. Google Analytics는 마스킹된 IP 주소로 대략적인 지역을 추정할 수 있으며, 앱은 GPS 접근을 요청하지 않습니다.
서비스 제공 업체의 처리: Google 로그인은 인증, 부정 이용 방지 및 분석을 위해 로그인 과정의 전화번호 등 Google 계정 정보, 계정·기기 식별자, 대략적인 위치, 이용 정보 및 로그인 관련 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. Firebase도 SDK 진단 정보를 처리합니다. 업체가 처리하는 정보 중에는 앱으로 전달되지 않거나 앱 프로필에 저장되지 않는 정보가 있습니다.
선택적 후원 구매: 계정 ID, 스토어, 상품 ID, 거래 또는 구매 식별자, 구매 시각, 가격·통화, 구매·환불 상태. 구매 검증, 비공개 감사 카드, 미완료 구매 복구, 부정 이용 방지 및 구매 분석에 사용합니다.
고객 지원: 문의 시 제출하는 계정 정보, 제목 및 메시지

Apple 또는 Google이 결제를 처리하며, 개발자는 카드 번호나 은행 계좌 정보를 받지 않습니다.

2. Google 사용자 데이터의 사용 목적

수집한 Google 사용자 데이터는 다음 목적으로만 사용합니다.

3. 데이터 저장 및 보관 기간

계정 및 학습 데이터는 Firebase(Google Cloud Platform)에 저장됩니다. RevenueCat은 구매 검증과 분석을 위해 구매 기록 및 앱 계정 ID를 처리합니다. Apple과 Google도 각 스토어의 거래 기록을 보관합니다.

계정 삭제 시: 계정과 학습 기록을 삭제하며, 이메일 삭제 요청은 7일 이내 처리합니다. 아래의 구매 기록 보관 예외가 적용됩니다.

계정 정보, 퀴즈 기록, 학습 통계, 레벨/경험치/출석, 뱃지/성취, 선택 정보(교회 정보)가 삭제됩니다.

구매 검증 기록과 계정 삭제 표시는 앱 내 계정 삭제로 제거되지 않습니다. 구매 재사용 방지와 지연된 구매·환불 알림 처리를 위해 앱 계정 식별자 및 거래 상태를 별도로 보관합니다. RevenueCat과 각 스토어에도 구매 기록이 남을 수 있습니다. 해당 기록에 관한 요청은 아래 연락처로 문의해 주세요. 앱 계정 삭제는 Apple·Google 스토어 계정이나 주문 내역을 삭제하지 않습니다.
